((Sorry it took me so long to get this up. I had SO much school work. Anyways. This is the last Chapter you can vote on the characters. Enjoy~))
That night you laid in bed, turning slightly when your stomach rumbled with hunger. You buried your head into your pillow and sighed, "It was all my fault... They died because of me... I-I'm so stupid..." A soft whimper lift your lips and you started to cry.
Matthias was walking down the hall when he heard a muffled crying sound coming from (y/n)'s room. He opened the door quietly and saw (y/n)'s form curled up on the bed, her back shakily rising with every sob. He frowned slightly then left the room, heading towards Lucas's room.
He opened the door and walked over to his sleeping Norwegian friend. Gently, he shook Lucas, "Hey. Wake up..."
Lucas turned, grabbing Matthias's tie and pulling it down to choke him slightly. "What do you want...?" He groaned.
"(y/n) is crying... I don't think she would want to talk to me about it... Would you do it for me...?" Matthias asked, his head hanging slightly. The Norwegian sighed and nodded, standing up and letting Matthias's tie go. Quietly, he walked to (y/n)'s room.
~Back to your P.O.V~
You sniffled and lifted your head off of your pillow when you heard the door open. Quickly, you wiped the tears off your eyes and turned to see who it was. Standing in the doorway was Lucas. His eyes were full of worry as he watched you.
He slowly made his way over to you and sat on the bed next to you, hesitantly placing his hand on your back, "(y/n)...whats wrong...?" Lucas rubbed gentle circles on your back to try and make you feel better.
You made a few choked back sobs, "I-It was all my fault... They died because of me..."
"Mommy and Daddy..."
Lucas shifted, "Do you want to talk about it...?" Quickly, you shook your head, no. He sighed and pulled you into a hug. When he did, he felt how small your form had gotten since you had arrived at the Nordic household, "(y/n)...? Have you been lying to us about not being hungry...?"
You looked away from him, "Maybe a little..."
"You need to eat..." He stood up and lifted you off the bed, "Come with me... We are getting you some food." Quiet whimpers left your lips as he carried you down to the kitchen. Lucas shifted through the pantry and fridge util he found a container of ice cream and made a bowl of it. The clank of the bowl being set on the table was the only noise in the room.
It was silent and you were just staring at the bowl in front of you. After a little bit, you whispered, "... I don't deserve it..."
Lucas sighed, pushing it a little closer to you, "(y/n)... please..."
You kept your gaze on the bowl, "No. It's all my fault! I don't deserve anything!" They were shot because of me! I was the one who wanted to go to the fair! If I hadn't wanted to go they would be alive! I-It was all my fault..."
"(y/n)... nobody could have seen that coming... It isn't your fault... I'm sure your parents think the same... It's not your fault, trust me..." He assured you as tears ran down your cheeks. Gently, he wiped them away with his thumb and hugged you gently, "It's okay... shhh..." He pulled away after you stopped crying and took a scoop of the half-melted ice cream and held it in front of your mouth, "Could you eat a little bit...? I'm sure your mom and dad would want you to eat something."
Hesitantly, you ate what was on the spoon. Lucas smiled a little and continued to feed you the rest of the bowl to you. You looked down, "T-Thank you, Lucas..."
Lucas smiled and rubbed your back, "No problem... if you ever need me, just ask."
You nodded then clutched your stuffed dog close to you, "Um... Can I sleep in your room tonight...?"
He chuckled and nodded, "Of course, (y/n)." Lucas grabbed your hand and led you to his room, tucking you in before getting in himself.
~The next morning~
Everyone was eating breakfast happily when the doorbell rang. Berwald got up and went to open the door. There was a cop standing there. Berwald blinked, "Can I help you, Officer?"
"Yes. It has been reported that you are housing the missing orphan, (y/n)."
